Umoja Generational Wealth (UGW) is a membership community of Africa and African Diaspora entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals who are dedicated to growing their asset based wealth under UBUNTU PRINCIPLES for the betterment of themselves, their community and able to transfer it to the next generation. UGW each month hosts conferences, webinars, master classes, bootcamps, and mastermind or coaching groups on a variety of assets and wealth creation topics.

What are Ubuntu Principles

Over 2000 years ago, Black people of Africa developed a collective meaning to life to describe the kind of relationship an individual person is expected to have with their family, community, society, environment and their spiritual world.

Person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, based from a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.

The above are manifested on “It takes a village to raise a child”; “Looking after siblings and extended family”; or in Bantu greetings “Sawa Bona! (I see you!)  To which the response is Sikhona! (I am here!)
